We understand that purchasing handmade pottery online is a personal experience. If your order does not meet your expectations, we are here to help.

Returns

We accept returns within:

30 days of delivery

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused
  • In its original condition
  • Returned with original packaging materials
  • Accompanied by your order information

Items that show signs of use, damage, or alteration may not be accepted.

How to Request a Return

To start a return, please contact our customer support team:

  • Reason for return
  • Photos of the product (if applicable)

Our team will review your request and provide return instructions.

Please do not send items back before receiving return approval.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The item arrived damaged
  • The wrong item was received
  • The product has a manufacturing defect

For approved returns, customers should use a trackable shipping service.

Prairie Leaf is not responsible for items lost during return shipping.

Damaged or Broken Items

Because our products are handcrafted ceramic pieces, we carefully package every order for safe delivery.

However, if your planter arrives damaged:

Please contact us within:

48 hours after delivery

with:

  • Order number
  • Photos of the damaged item
  • Photos of the packaging
  • Shipping label image

Once we receive the information, we will evaluate the situation and provide a suitable solution, including:

  • Replacement
  • Store credit
  • Refund (when applicable)

Exchanges

We currently offer exchanges for:

  • Damaged items
  • Incorrect items received

If you would like to exchange an item due to preference (such as color, size, or style), please contact us first. Exchanges are subject to product availability.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you a confirmation email.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method.

Please allow:

5–10 business days

for your bank or payment provider to complete the refund process.

Handmade Ceramic Product Notice

Each Prairie Leaf planter is individually handcrafted.

Natural variations may occur, including:

  • Slight differences in glaze color
  • Small texture variations
  • Minor surface irregularities
  • Unique handmade characteristics

These details are part of authentic artisan pottery and are not considered defects.

Every piece is designed to be beautifully unique.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Used planters
  • Items damaged after delivery due to improper care
  • Products modified or altered after purchase
  • Clearance or final sale items

Order Cancellation

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us within:

24 hours after purchase

Once your order has entered processing or shipping, cancellation may no longer be possible.
